Most of my CCD pictures are taken on the Pithiviers-leVieil site, where i live. It is a small village located at 3 miles (6Km) from the Pithiviers city, to 40 miles ( 80Km) from the south of Paris and to 20 miles ( 40Km) from the north of Orleans city.

Pithiviers-le-Vieil contains a bit more 1000 people and we are very well located. With the silence and the calmness of the village in the country, but i have a few light pollution problems.

A small pleasant village and very nice place for astronomy. The night, without Moon, give us good skies for CCD imaging, sometimes with good transparency.
